Business Services Fidelity Bond

Business Services fidelity bonds are 3rd party in nature, but not client-specific. These bonds are designed for service-type business, such as appliance repair or installation companies, in which the majority of the business is conducted in customers’ homes or businesses. While fairly easy to obtain and relatively inexpensive, the bonds usually include a conviction clause which requires a claimant to obtain a conviction in court for the theft before the bonding company will pay out.
