Fitness Clubs

The State of Minnesota requires all fitness, health & dating clubs that accept prepaid memberships to post a bond at an amount acceptable to and determined by the Attorney General’s office.  New facilities under construction must maintain a $25,000 bond until the club is opened and a review of the prepaid memberships is conducted.

  1. Apply for bond HERE
  2. Resume of owners
  3. For bonds over $10,000, personal financial statement of owner
  4. For bonds over $10,000, business financial statement (if available)
