Injunction/Temporary Restraining Order

A party may initiate legal action against another party to stop an activity.  A request is made of the court to grant a temporary restraining order until such time as the grievance can be heard and ruled on by court.  A temporary restraining order bond may be required to guarantee payment to the other party if the court determines it erred in granting the TRO.

A permanent bond may be set if the court decides that a permanent injunction should be granted against the other party.  This decision may include the requirement of the plaintiff to post an injunction bond.

Underwriting Requirements:

  1. Copy of complaint
  2. Financial statement
  3. Collateral may be required.
