Maintenance Bonds

Sometimes a project owner will seek an additional maintenance guarantee beyond the typical one-year maintenance provision in a contract.  If a contractor signs an ancillary maintenance agreement, there will often be a maintenance bond requirement attached to the contract, guaranteeing the contractor will perform pursuant to the maintenance contract.  Maintenance bond rates may be different that standard performance bond rates.
