Power of Attorney

Minnesota Statues 523

Minnesota Statutes 523 allow for an individual to appoint another person as their power of attorney, basically giving specific legal powers to the other person.  Professional conservators will often be asked to be bonded in an amount equal to the assets of the Grantor, as this procedure is not governed and monitored by court jurisdiction.

Underwriting Requirements:

  1. Copy of power of attorney
  2. Copy of annual accounting
  3. Prequalification of professional conservator
